The Truth in Storytelling

  • There is a deep truth that can only come across from storytelling. Only stories that portray that reality are going to be convincing. The truth is always going to be on your side.
  • So I became a Christian storyteller.
  • When you tell stories, the story has to be one that people recognize in their own emotional world. Not one that is some dream, that will stun them when they come back to reality.
  • If you’re looking for something to put your mind on something else, then put your mind on the truth.
  • We have nothing to fear of reading the truth.
  • A storyteller who doesn’t have the integrity to face the depths of the world’s darkness, will have never have the authority to lead his readers to a better light.
