Passion Pit Live
I had the chance over the July 4th weekend to see Passion Pit live at the Taste of Chicago. This was my first time seeing them live, and it was great! A friend of mine introduced me to their music a couple months ago, and ever since then I have been obsessed with them.
Although, I didn’t know many of their songs, it was still a great time. If you don’t know their music, they are a electronic pop/alternative indie band. So the thing that made the concert great was the fact that their music is fun to dance to.
If you were in Chicago on July 4th you know that it was a blazing 90 degrees all day, and we ended up sitting in that heat for about 3 hours, waiting for the concert to start. At least we got good seats. But it was well worth the wait, and I’d like to see them again someday when I know their music a bit better. Although, it would still be hard for me to sing along, because the lead singer’s voice is ridiculously high pitched. I don’t know how he does it.
Have you seen Passion Pit live?
What did you think?
Here are some other concerts in Chicago that I’m looking forward to:
Kings of Leon – 7/24 – First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre
Phoenix – 8/8 – House of Blues
Don’t know who Passion Pit is? Here is one of their popular songs:
